Military Appreciation Days
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway would like to say “Thank You”.
We invite all active and retired military personnel to ride the World’s Largest Rotating Tramcar for FREE during the month of July just by showing their valid Military ID.
Their guests (up to 6 persons) receive a 25% discount off regular Tram admission tickets.

Ride Up Cool Down All Summer Long

The Tramway’s popular Summer Pass will go on sale April 15th. The Summer Pass will be valid May 1st through August 31st, 2009. Cost of the Summer Pass is $60 for adults and seniors and $30 for children ages 3-12. Once purchased the pass holder can enjoy unlimited Tram rides and a 10% discount on additional Tram admissions. Passes can be purchased online or at the Valley Station and are not transferable.

Dine at one of the two restaurants – it is a one of a kind experience. Peaks Restaurant
offers fine dining, while the Pines Café offers an affordable cafeteria-style alternative.
New this year Summer Pass holders receive 10% discount at either restaurant!

Guided Nature Hikes

Volunteers for the Mount San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness Area will be offering
Guided Nature Walks every Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day through Labor Day.  The Nature Walks will feature a choice of two easy trails – the Desert View Trail,
a 1˝-mile loop beginning at 10:30am or the Long Valley Nature Trail, a ľ-mile loop
beginning at 1:30pm. Those interested should meet at the bottom of the cement walkway just outside of the Tramway’s Mountain Station.

Enjoy the smell of the Jeffrey Pines and listen to the song of the chickadees as
volunteers talk about the plants and animals of the State Park and share interesting
facts about the wilderness. Be sure to bring water, a snack, a light jacket, and
camera - and don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes.

Family Days will be offered on Saturday, May 23, June 27, August 1 and September 5
by the Natural History Association from 11am to 2pm. Family activities will take
place in the amphitheater in front of the Long Valley Ranger Station.

Among the kid friendly activities offered will be the study of plants, trees,
bugs and birds.
